Nawader

Nawader is a free, non-commercial magazine about Doha — its places, its food, its stories, its history. It exists because so much of what makes this city legible only lives in conversation, in memory, in the ways Qatari already know how to look at it.

There is no editorial calendar here. Pieces are published as they are written, by contributors who are not journalists and are not trying to be. Nawader is maintained by one person, without an office or a business model, and it intends to stay that way. No ads, no subscription, no issue numbers.
